AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre AoT Event for Holiday Season

In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Additional Material

Players who finish the quest will obtain an unique katana in addition to numerous items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa outfit for Naoe
• Special arms
• Survey Corps mount

Latest Free Story Addition

This patch also adds the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "The Mystery."
