Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
